What are some good makeup tips?

I don't have much to work with, though, and I need to know something that I can do with the stuff that I have. I have a LOT of eyeshadow, and sparkly eyeshadow, and eye liner (liquid and pencil) and mascara, but, I don't really know any way to make it all look good. Plus, I'm HORRIBLE at liquid eyeliner! lol.
