Does anyone remember a halloween adaption of "A Christmas Carol" where Scrooge ends up in hell?

I remember there was a kind of challenge that the old man who was the scrooge-like figure made to kids: if they could locate the mortgage papers to their parents' house, they could keep it. It was like a haunted house, but somehow I remember it was very cruel to the kids. The kids eventually find the papers, I think hidden on a small shelf inside the chimney (!). What sticks in my mind most is the ending: the cruel old man opens a door to a room in his house and instead finds that it is the entrance to hell. He is slowly pulled in, with demons in the form of humans all around him, and they are burning or melting amidst the flames.
