Why do they ALWAYS do this in movies...?

Whatever they are doing, it works. you and everyone else seem to catch on to it, so really if it bothers you and have to ask why they do it...just quit watching them.....ask something a little more answerable, like "Does anyone know what the best horror/sci-fi movie is?"
