Would a lime green and black room look weird?

I want a lime green and black room. In my bedroom we have a wall that kind of sticks out, it's from the chimney downstairs. Right now, that is hot pink and the rest of my walls are white. It looks a bit childish.. I want to paint that black and have the white walls lime green or the opposite way.
