Please re answer my ariel question (I left out some info)!!!?

you need a slightly better signal to ensure that HD channels lock on..a better aerial probably would help but the problem may come back as the under carpet cable deteroiates further. In a similar situation I installed a new piece of cable at a cost of much less than getting a new aerial!
