Dying my roots with a box dye (blonde! +pictures!)?

i've never had black hair but i have dyed my hair pretty much every other color so yes you will need bleach to cover the black roots. I'm sure a lot of people bleach then dye right away. BUT I would suggest waiting atleast a week, your roots surely won't grow back by then and it'll give your hair a little break. if your roots don't grow very fast, you could probably wait a month, that would be even better. ecspecially since you dye it every month & will continue to do this. But I'm not saying you shouldn't, I am pretty much the same way! Also since your bleaching the roots (and I would do the roots ONLY) you'll get a better color with the box dye after you let the bleach ease up off of your hair a little bit. Just be careful & use common sense when it comes to putting a lot chemicals on your hair. Obviously people lose hair without ever having dyed it so hair wasn't neccessarily meant to be bleached, dyed, stripped, and done again too much. Good Luck!!
