I have a cast and the cotton liner in the inside won't stay above my cast..help!?

I got my cast last week and the stuff they wrap around your leg before they put the fiberglass cast over it is falling down inside my cast at the top. What can I do to make it stay above my cast? I can pull it up, but then it keeps going down again! What can I do?!
